mix no. 6

I felt the need to squeeze in one more mix before August was over.

This is a Late Summer Mix, meaning these songs remind me of that bittersweet time between seasons. Some of them are pure joy, celebrating both the last of the warmth and my excitement for fall. But most of them have a thread of melancholy through them, a feeling you will recognize if you agree that this has been the shortest summer you've ever known.

Listen here.

  1. this really has been the shortest summer i've ever known. i can't even believe how quickly it passed.

the only one that could possibly beat it would be the summer before my freshman year at college because i was SO NERVOUS it seemed to go by in less than a blink of an eye.

  2. what a wonderful blog you have, and this is such a wonderful mix!
